I can’t remember the last time I was in KLCC, but PC Fair some weeks ago gave me a good reason to go. We had lunch at Melur and Thyme which is supposed to be a sort of Western and Malaysian fusion food, and looked extremely pretty from the outside. I suppose you can’t judge a restaurant but how it looks and we were bitterly disappointed with how the food turned out. The boo had the Foie Gras Burger which looked great on paper but turned out underwhelming, and I had two different tapas which were tiny in portion and not very satisfying in taste. Needless to say, we won’t be making a return trip any time soon and will learn to judge restaurants better than purely based on appearances.

Nevertheless, we had a fruitful day out (and finally managed to try the Cream & Fudge Factory), and a change it made from our routine of staying in on weekends.
